Eugene Gregor is a corporate and international lawyer by training and a senior counsel with the law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.  Eugene and his family were residents of Tokyo and Hong Kong for 22 years before moving to the Bay Area in 2016.

In addition to ongoing relationships with VIA alumni, Eugene’s previous VIA experience includes work as an undergraduate volunteer teacher at the Taichung Taiwan YMCA in 1980, a host position for the American Language and Culture program in 1981, and a 2-year teaching post at the Kunming Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1983.

While in Asia, Eugene served on a range of volunteer boards, committees and taskforces involving, among others, the American School in Japan, the American Chamber of Commerce Japan, and the Hong Kong Law Society.  He is also a current board director of The Golden Gate Philharmonic, Inc., a San Francisco-based youth symphony.
