Ignite Your Passion: Networking Event

VIAは６０年に渡り、アメリカとアジアの人の交流を通して異文化理解および自己発見の機会を提供し、社会の様々な課題に取り組める人材の育成を目指してきました。創設６０周年を記念して、４月２０日（土）に東京でイベントを開催します！イベントでは、「思いやりのある社会の形成と重要な社会的課題解決を目指す、国や文化の境を超えて協力できるリーダーのグローバルなコミュニティ」というVIAの新たなビジョン達成のための活動内容について聞いたり、VIAプログラムに参加した多分野で活躍するアルムナイと繋がるよい機会となりますので、ぜひ、ご家族・ご友人をお誘い合わせの上ご参加ください！

スケジュール

• 3:15-3:30 PM — ネットワークセッション受付
• 3:30-5:00 PM — パネルディスカッション＆ネットワーキング (主に英語で行われます)
• 5:00-5:45 PM — 休憩 (ネットワーキング継続)
• 5:45-6:00 PM — 記念パーティー受付
• 6:00-8:00 PM — VIA６０周年記念パーティー (英語と日本語で開催)

お申し込み

ネットワークセッションとパーティーは、別々のお申し込みとなります。どちらか一方または両方へのお申し込みが可能です。パーティーにはオードブル各種、サラダ、パスタ及び飲み放題（ビール、ワイン、ハイボール、サワー、ソフトドリンク等）が含まれます。

• ネットワーキング (3:30-5:45 PM)
  • 一般: $45 USD
  • 学生: $35 USD*
• 記念パーティー (6:00–8:00 PM)
  • 一般: $70 USD
  • 学生: $60 USD*

*現在学校に所属しているもしくは今春卒業した人。

注１: お申し込み締め切りは日本時間４月１２日（金）午後１１時５９分となります。キャンセルに伴う返金はいたしませんので、ご了承ください。

注２: お支払いのページに今回使用しているプラットフォームをサポートするために “Support the 100% free platform we use!” という箇所があります。こちらの金額は０ドルから好きな金額まで変更できますので、ご希望に合わせて変えてください。

会場

ネットワーキングセッションおよび記念パーティーは千駄ヶ谷駅、国立競技場駅から徒歩圏内の会場で行われます。会場の詳細は、登録された方にメールでお知らせします。

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 3:15-3:30 PM — Networking Event Check-In
• 3:30-5:00 PM — Panel Discussion & Networking (primarily in English)
• 5:00-5:45 PM — Break (continue networking)
• 5:45-6:00 PM — Dinner Reception Check-In
• 6:00-8:00 PM — VIA 60th Anniversary Dinner Reception (English & Japanese)

ADMISSION

Separate tickets are required for the networking event and dinner reception. Attendees are welcome to join for either or both parts of the event. The dinner reception will include a variety of Japanese and international hors d’oeuvres, salad, pasta, and unlimited beverages (e.g., beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks).

• Networking Event (3:30-5:45 PM)
  • Regular rate: $45 USD
  • Student rate: $35 USD*
• Dinner Reception (6:00–8:00 PM)
  • Regular rate: $70 USD
  • Student rate: $60 USD*

*Must be currently enrolled in an academic institution or a spring 2024 graduate.

Notes:

• Tickets must be purchased by April 12 (Fri) 11:59 PM Japan Time. Tickets are not refundable.
• On the payment page you will see the option to “Support the 100% free platform we use!” This nonprofit fundraising platform, Zeffy, does not charge VIA any transaction fees. Instead, users can opt to cover transaction costs. If you’d like to support this service, you can choose a percentage or specific amount (the funds go directly to Zeffy, not VIA).

LOCATION

The venue is within walking distance from Sendagaya Station or Kokuritsu Kyogijo Station in Shibuya, Tokyo. The exact location will be provided upon registration.

SPONSORSHIP

Whether or not you’re able to attend, you are welcome to show your support by including a donation in the registration form. Donors will be recognized and thanked as sponsors during the event.
