ABOUT THE TOUR
VIA’s Japan Study Tour is an unforgettable journey through Japan’s rich history, vibrant culture, and inspiring communities. We’ll explore the Kansai region, from the lively streets of Osaka to the serene UNESCO World Heritage Site Koyasan, where VIA once held volunteer training. In Hiroshima and Tokyo, we’ll visit iconic sites such as Itsukushima Shrine, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, and the charming Asakusa district. Along the way, you’ll experience traditional Japanese arts, engage in conversations about current social issues, connect with VIA’s partners, and share meaningful moments with VIA supporters and alumni.
