Strategic Relationships Director

Growing up, Wallace’s grandmother often spoke to him in a mix of Cantonese, Putonghua, and Bahasa, which inspired his passion for people, language, and culture. In college, Wallace participated in exchange programs in Poland, mainland China, and the Dominican Republic, motivating him to pursue an international career after graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, where he earned a BA in Communication Studies and Philosophy. He later completed his Master of Public Affairs at the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy.

Over the past decade, Wallace has held leadership roles developing community-based programs and creating cross-cultural opportunities for diverse youth and adults. He has also led humanitarian service projects with nonprofit organizations and educational institutions across Shanghai, Hong Kong, Thailand, Nepal, and Indonesia.

As Strategic Partnerships Director at VIA, Wallace is committed to opening doors and creating pathways for young leaders to flourish by leveraging his professional experience in Asia. In addition, Wallace serves as a Board Director and Senior Advisor of the Hong Kong China American Football Legion, an Associate Board Member for Asians Are Strong, and a consultant for the Moore Working Group. In his free time, Wallace enjoys traveling, cooking, and fantasy sports.
