VIA commemorated its 60th anniversary with a gala event in Palo Alto, California during Stanford’s Homecoming Week in October. Over 80 attendees representing six decades of VIA’s programs joined in the celebration, which featured a taiko drum performance, remarks from VIA Founder Dwight Clark and VIA Board Chair Steve Hope, and members of the alumni community sharing their experiences and fond memories of VIA with the audience.
