Hello. My name is Hirona Hono. I am the Assistant Program Director of EHC 2016, which started last Sunday, 13th of March. We welcomed 29 students from Japanese medical universities and colleges, including one nursing student and one pharmacy student.
It is also our honor to have Dr. James Thomas as Faculty in Residence. He teaches medical English at Keio University and this is his second time joining EHC. Welcome back, James!
Another key person in this program is Toshiyuki Kishida, our Nichibei Health Care Fellow. He joined CME in February and continues to work with us during EHC. He is a liaison connecting students, staff members and Global Health Fellows, who will join the second half of the program.
