A world without VIA is hard to imagine. Without VIA, I would not be where I am and who I am today. I believe the same could be said for most people who have gone through a VIA program. My VIA experience on the American Language & Culture (ALC) program was the core reason for me to pursue a graduate degree and a career in the U.S. Through conversations with our alumni, I have heard many of them share similar stories of how their VIA experiences opened new doors and shaped their career paths. It is also amazing to hear from many of them that their personal lives had been changed by meeting their life-long partners through a VIA program. I have had the honor to attend a few VIA weddings and look forward to more in the years to come.
